Of course you can! We just ask that the boxes you choose are as sturdy as the ones we sell. They must be made of double-walled cardboard which means you should see at least two layers of zigzags when you look closely at the edge of the box.
If you’re using your own boxes, make sure you choose the right size category when you order storage. Measure the width, depth and height of your box and add them together:
Remember that your boxes must weigh less than 25kg when full. If you’ve heavier or larger items we may still be able to store them. Select the appropriate item type in “Other Items” and where necessary include a description of the item including its weight and size.
Please don’t risk damage to your items by using any old box. Never use boxes, like crisp boxes, which were originally intended for another purpose. Your box needs to be heavy-duty, so if it’s second-hand, it’s probably not suitable. If you choose to use your own box and it comes apart on its way to our storage facility, your stuff will be repacked for their safety. You’ll be charged a 5€ repacking fee for small and medium boxes, or a 7.50€ repacking fee for large boxes should this happen.
